The store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services to you.

2. Products, Pricing & Accuracy

Product Descriptions: We make every effort to display the colors, specifications, textures, and details of our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display of any color will be completely accurate. For handcrafted, original, or custom-made items, slight variations in color, tone, and texture are natural characteristics of the creative process.

Pricing: All prices are stated in UAE Dirhams (AED) or your selected local currency. We reserve the right to modify prices or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

Taxes & VAT: Prices displayed may or may not include local taxes depending on your location and checkout settings. For customers within the UAE, applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) will be calculated and applied at checkout in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority guidelines.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes: If you order products for delivery outside the United Arab Emirates, your shipment may be subject to local import duties, customs clearance charges, and taxes once the parcel reaches your destination country. You (the customer) are solely responsible for all customs duties, import tariffs, brokerage fees, and local taxes imposed by your destination country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

3. Orders, Billing & Account Information

Order Acceptance: Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our final acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction, or to cancel/limit quantities purchased per person, household, or order.

Cancellations by Us: In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order (e.g., due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud), we will notify you via the email or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was placed and issue a prompt refund.

Billing Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and payment details, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

4. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

Dispatch & Carriers: We ship both across the United Arab Emirates and internationally using reputable courier and postal services.

Delivery Estimates: Delivery timeframes displayed on our storefront are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates. We are not liable for delays caused by customs clearance, local carrier issues, extreme weather, or other events outside our reasonable control.

Risk of Loss: All physical items purchased from our store are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery of the parcel to the shipping carrier.

5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Standard Return Window: Our return and refund practices are governed by our dedicated Return Policy and comply with applicable UAE Consumer Protection regulations (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020) and international consumer standards.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items: Because customized, personalized, or custom-commissioned artwork and handmade goods cannot be resold, all sales of customized or made-to-order goods are final once production has commenced, except in the case of verified manufacturing defect or damage upon arrival.

Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the packaging and product so we can initiate a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content included on this website—including artwork, text, graphics, logos, images, digital downloads, designs, audio clips, and software—is the exclusive property of The Geek Artist or its content creators and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws, as well as UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyrights and Neighboring Rights.

Artwork Ownership: Purchasing an original artwork, print, or handmade product grants you physical ownership of that tangible item only. It does not transfer copyright, reproduction, or commercial exploitation rights to you. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from any of our designs or products without our prior express written permission.

7. Third-Party Tools & External Links

We may provide you with access to third-party tools or links over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input (including payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, or Tabby/Tamara). You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind.

Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy, and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase from our store shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
